Description
After 3 years of development the new version V7 is ready for sale. What are the key improvements over the version V5?:
– Printed in LW-PLA (recommended Colorfabb LW-PLA HT).
– Open duct fuselage design, easier for modifying the power system, also a small turbin should be possible.
– Thinner vertical stabilizer to reduce drag and increase flight speed.
Update Print Files (31.05.2024):
– Add 0.5° wing twist to the main wing
– Improved hinge design, no Nylon hinges needed for the wing
Update Print Files (06.01.2024):
– Add canards to the print files
– Add two aligning holes for the canard mount to the Fuselage P2
The download include:
– Airplane print files (.stl file type)
– Landing gear struts print files (.stlf file type)
– Master assembly from the complete Mirage III (.stl file type)
– Quick Manual (no step by step building instruction)
The parts can be sliced with state of the art slicers. I tested it with Simplify3D and Prusa Slicer. Cura and Idea Maker should also work
The Mirage III is not a beginner airplane. Keep in mind that some building and flying skills are needed to have success.
