The Flunder agricultural drone can be used to combat the European corn borer quickly and efficiently from the air. The drop container can hold up to 800 balls from the manufacturers UFA and Biocare. Thanks to its weight-optimized design, the Flunder flies with a relatively small battery with a capacity of 7000mAh. This is enough to fly a maximum of 8 hectares at a time. The built-in lidar sensor enables autonomous following of the terrain. This supports and relieves the pilot during field work. The pilot can concentrate on the remaining instruments and monitor the flight from the air using the built-in FPV camera.

The Flunder was developed and continuously optimized in the beautiful Seeland region of Switzerland. Hundreds of test flights, as well as intensive use during the season, have made the Flunder what it is today. An extremely efficient and inexpensive tool for corn borer control.
