After two years of development the model is finally ready for sale. This beautiful Mirage III is designed for a 6S powered 90 EDF Setup. You buy the print files for the Mirage III included the landing gear struts. You don’t have to buy additional expensive struts.
The download include:
– Airplane print files (.3mf file type)
– Landing gear struts print files (.3mf file type)
– Master assembly from the complete Mirage III (.3mf file type)
– Quick Manual
The parts can be sliced with state of the art slicers. I tested it with Simplify3D and Prusa Slicer. Cura and Idea Maker should also work
The Mirage III is not a beginner airplane. Keep in mind that some building and flying skills are needed to have success.
Suggested components:
EDF: JetFan 90 or FMS90mm
ESC: Hobbywing 120A
Battery: min. 6S5000mAh 40C
Servos for rudders: KST HS08-A
Servos for doors: EMAX ES3301
Servo front steering: KST DS113MG
Printer requierements:
Mid format printer with a build volume of 300 x 300x 400, for expample the Artillery Sidewinder X2, Creality CR-10, Ender 5 Plus and similar.
Note from 15.10.2022: The new LW-PLA HT version is under development and should be ready in 8 weeks. My suggestion, wait and get the latest version of the Mirage III
Note from 03.01.2023: The new LW-PLA HT version is still under development. First successful prints are done, but the CAD design is still in work. Regarding the benefits of the LW-PLA version. I assume that the weight benefit beteween the LW-PLA and the standard version will be small. But the overall fragility will be improved with the LW-PLA. If you buy the V5 today, future updates will be included.
